Fit Your Fashions Through Professional Pattern Alteration
5 day course covering the complexities of pattern fitting to Your body. Use a commercial pattern, fit it to you and select one of our fine fashion fabrics for a skirt and jacket you will be proud to wear!

Reverse Applique and Cutwork Skirt
This is not your typical kind of appliqué but a reverse technique that allows the under fabric to show through the cutouts! You must have a good working knowledge of patterns, and sewing garments to take this class. Designer Alabama Chanin uses this artful technique to create her signature garments. Learn how to do it yourself!

Fashion Design through the Artist’s Lens
Explore the fundamentals of design as applied to Fashion. Look at your personal style by dissecting your closet, garments that you love, verses those you don’t and consider their impact from a new perspective, and sketch designs of your own!

Heirloom and Smocking for Beginners
Make a baby bonnet using lace to lace, lace to fabric “French Hand Sewing” and Smocking by hand. A beautiful art form that looks impressive but is easy to learn!

Watercolor Pieced Apron
This would be a great Mother’s Day gift! It is so beautiful and so incredibly easy! Using a kit of pre-cut cottons and iron on quilt backing. Take this class just for the fun of it and take home an artful apron!

Classes canceled by Les Fabriques due to instructor illness or inclement weather will be rescheduled and made up at no cost to students. Students who wish to make up a class missed for personal reasons will have to be charged a make-up fee. Fees are based on how many students attend make up class. Tuition is expected at time of registration to reserve a space in class. Tuition is only refunded in the form of store credit. There is a 6 student maximum per class to ensure individualized attention and project completion.
